DALLAS St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 474 Yalick Road, Dallas, will host a service of Holden Evening Prayer on Saturday, June 3 at 7:00 p.m. This service is part of the Holden Evening Prayer Around the World event and is free and open to the public.

Holden Village in Chelan, Washington organizes this annual service which is offered in churches, community centers and homes around the world. Marty Haugen, an American composer of liturgical music, wrote Holden Evening Prayer during the winter of 1985-86 during a musical residency at Holden Village. A simple Lutheran vespers service that follows traditional form while using contemporary and inclusive language, this service has become beloved by many.
